Elders are the wisdom holders, the culture bearers, our roots.
Over the past year the Cuéntame project has been leading art workshops and one-on-one storytelling sessions with San Ysidro’s elders. Local artists turned their stories into artwork, creating a multimedia, sensory archive of stories and wisdom from elders in our border community. natalia ventura and Yvette Roman invite you to explore the archive and heal through storytelling this June 1-7, 2024.
